Procedimiento:
The aim of this activity is to work on abilities and non- abilities
On a cardboard, stick vertically the pictures of different well-known characters such as:
Cinderella, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Snowhite, Three little pigs, Shrek, Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Clifford, Buzz Light year, etc.
Then horizontally, draw different activities such as: swimming, playing tennis, football, volley ball, playing the guitar, piano, walking, running, skiing, dancing, singing, cooking, jumping.
Put the cardboard on the wall and ask students to choose a character and say what he/she can do or can´t do. Ask them to put a tick or a cross depending on the character´s abilities.
You can also use this activity to practise yes,no questions as if it were an interview. It could be done as if students were interviewing the characters or as if they wanted to know some information about the characters..
Resultado esperado: You can ask students to stick their favorite character in their copy books and describe his/her abilities.
Opciones de adaptación: You can adapt this activity and ask them to copy and paste their favorite characters and what they can do and then type their descriptions or make a PPT.
